A General Multipatch Model of Ebola Dynamics

چکیده

Abstract A model for the transmission dynamics of Ebola virus in a multipatch network setting is studied. The considers contribution to by people who are susceptible, infectious, isolated, deceased but still infectious and not yet buried, as well pathogen at interacting nodes or patches. Humans can move between patches carrying disease any patch region n communities (patches). Both direct indirect accounted this model. Matrix graph-theoretic methods some combinatorial identities used construct appropriate Lyapunov functions establish global stability results both disease-free endemic equilibrium While focused on Ebola, it be adapted study other epidemics, including COVID-19, currently affecting all countries world.

A Cellular Automata Model of Ebola Virus Dynamics

We construct a stochastic cellular automaton (SCA) model for the spread of the Ebola virus (EBOV). We make substantial modifications to an existing SCA model used for HIV, introduced by others and studied by the authors. We give a rigorous analysis of the similarities between models due to the spread of virus and the typical immune response to it, and the di↵erences which reflect the drasticall...

Migration Induced Epidemics: Dynamics of Flux-Based Multipatch Models

Classical disease models use a mass action term as the interaction between infected and susceptible people in separate patches. We derive the equations when this interaction is a migration of people between patches. The results model what happens when a new population is moved into a region with endemic disease. investigating the feasibility of a proposed model for geometric design of deployable arch structures

deployable scissor type structures are composed of the so-called scissor-like elements (sles), which are connected to each other at an intermediate point through a pivotal connection and allow them to be folded into a compact bundle for storage or transport. several sles are connected to each other in order to form units with regular polygonal plan views. the sides and radii of the polygons are...

A MODEL FOR EVOLUTIONARY DYNAMICS OF WORDS IN A LANGUAGE

Human language, over its evolutionary history, has emerged as one of the fundamental defining characteristic of the modern man. However, this milestone evolutionary process through natural selection has not left any ’linguistic fossils’ that may enable us to trace back the actual course of development of language and its establishment in human societies. Lacking analytical tools to fathom the cr...
